1984 Chevy C-60 Utility. with a HD Industrial 350 truck motor and a manual trans with a split rear end. Used to be an 18 foot flatbed. I had a commercial truck builder slide the axle forward and cut off the rails. it was not cut and spliced in. The utility bed came off my 1 ton 4x4 dually. Originally purchased for use as a mobile oiler rig but found to be too light duty, so the owner parked it for 20 years. I found it, put some fresh gas in it and drove it home. After I built it with the utility bed, I worked out of it for 2 years and then became disabled. It sat for another 18 years. My son put in a new starter motor, new battery, new fuel pump, new hi/lo switch, new headlight switch, oil change and flushed the tanks and it drove like new. Original miles are 15,500 New paint when bed was installed. This truck drives like a dream. One of a kind. I loaded it up with tools and you cannot feel any of the cargo weight. This was a dream build of mine since I was 14. I hate to see it go.
